Will Bush's new plan to cut gas usage by 20% finally force Houston to get some real mass transportation? Also, adding to the fact, that Tom Delay is no longer blocking funds to his own constituents in Congress, this current political environment should benefit Houston. However, judging from the past, Houston has been quite resilent to any progess for real mass transit.

Houston is not built for mass transit.....It's hard now to get to point A to point B because of how Houston is spread out....It's not like up north where so many work in the area where they live...Plus the people in charge of fixing it can't stop fighting with eachother ! And Bush did not say to stop driving by 20%, he said to use different fuels other than oil based...

Subways cost billions to build. Bush will cut gas usage by 20% by getting the oil companies to raise prices 1000%.
