As I see it, this year and likely 2012 will have elections somewhat predictable. But down the road a piece I see some interesting developments. With that in mind, please direct your attention to the world circa eight years from now, and my plans for it.

Whoever wins this election will lose in 2012. Both of these candidates are one-term material. What happens in 2016 is anybody's guess.

We will elect the "One" in 2008, the great messiah. He will work to change constitution and eliminate term limits. He will rule for the next 30 years and all his loyal subjects will be blessed.

No, the Decider will cancel the election, declare martial law, and rule for 30 years before that would be allowed to happen.

Hillary or Chelsea --- the Clinton political ambition is like a cockroach in that it cannot be killed.

I tend to agree. Unless something big happens over the next few months, it seems pretty clear we're looking at President Obama. But I think the luster is going to wear off pretty fast, and he's going to be a disappiontment to most of his followers. Unless the GOP royally screws up (which is always a possibility), I'd bet Obama is a one-term President.

Truthfully, I agree with the one term. As a true independent, I am torn. I can't see voting for McCain but Obama seems like such a lightweight.

Where have all the leaders gone ?

As has been stated, neither one is worth a d*mn. Maybe our next leaders just haven't grown up enough yet. Anyway, am hoping that 2016 brings a second successful term for Jindal/Palin, or vice versa.

What frightens me is that I truly think that Bush will manipulate us into an expanded war that includes Iran and that McCain will become president through people's mistaken belief that McCain would be a better president under those circumstance. But, whoever wins, if Bush has his way the next 80 years...not just the next 8....will be spent with the US embroiled in never ending war...bankrupt....and so in debt to China that we will finally implode.
