I will never again buy Tyson products. They can go out of business for all I care.

Where is the ACLU when you need them? They have fought Christian Reconstructionists like Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson and James Dobson for decades (rightfully so) but, if anything, they seem to sympathize with the moslems who want to take over our country. Curious.

Because discrimination only goes one way, according to the "equal rights activists".

"Typical White" Americans need no protection.

Is someone forcing you to celebrate Eid? Do you work at Tyson?

What protection do you need from this, exactly?

This was a private company making a labor agreement with a union. There's no reason for the ACLU to get involved, since there's no church/state issue here.

How about protection from being forced to give up my traditional American holiday take a day off for a MUSLIM HOLIDAY when I'm not a muslim?

Do you work at Tyson? If not, this has no effect on you.

And Tyson workers, all of them, still get Christmas off.

The union -- representing the workers -- negotiated this change.

When it comes to religion, yes. "Civil Liberties" refers to Constitutional issues.

A private company negotiated with its own employees. There's no Constitutional issue here.

Tyson is not a private company. It is publicly held and I would venture to say that almost all of their shareholders are NOT Muslim and want no part of acknowledging their silly holiday.

Do you really want "Muhammad" to be the #1 baby boy name in America like it is now in the UK? Then we have to stop catering to their whims NOW.
