Interesting question? I would speculate that Democrat neighborhoods have more crime, being that Democrats occupy most large metropolitan cities and are usually the preferrable party for low income americans. Republicans usually are the wealthiest of americans in the major cities and also occupy most of middle america where there is significantly less crime because there is less population.
Would like to know of any substantial statistics indicating whether Republican or Democrat Neighborhoods have more crime?
I seem to notice that poor neighborhoods have the most crime. I have been in very democrat areas, and very republican areas and the poorer the area gets the more crime it has.
Then of course there is considering what gets reported and what doesn't. I wouldn't be surprised if many areas just ignore a lot of the crime when it comes to paperwork.
All in all, I wouldn't trust a statistic - period.
Repubs are also generally the ones who have a gun in their home to defend themselves and their loved ones so if I were a criminal, I'd steer clear of those areas lol.
My guess would be democrats have both ends of the spectrum and republicans in the middle! Think maxine waters district and the lilly white new england states where all the ultra wealthy democrats live, think Kennedy's!
More blacks are Democrat, so that's an easy calculation. Compare cities with black majorities to cities with non-black. Call it racist, I don't care, those are the numbers.
most inner cites vote democrat. most inner cities are crime filled. it also depends on the nature of the crime. I would also say that most criminals don't vote.
