when did americans become so pathetic?
there was some guy recently that took a bunch of crap for saying that americans were a bunch of whiners, man, was he right. you read the forums for 10 seconds and you can see that. it truly is appalling that we have been given the choice of the two idiot candidates we have running. I see people demanding free health care, demanding amnesty, demanding amendments defining marriage. when did we stop living our lives as individuals. hey you, over there on the right, stop worrying that your neighbor isn't living up to your moral code. hey you, over there on the left, how about getting a second job to pay for your own health care and providing your own social services. I truly can't believe what I see, on both sides. it's gonna get way worse before it gets any better. we truly are people controlled by government and "we the people" certainly don't control the government. most of us are too ignorant to realize we are just being taken for a ride.

I just find it so pathetic, when people stand around and wait for the government to throw them a bone, or to tell them how to live. it's like we don't even know how to tie our shoes anymore. sad sad.

Not even to get into the whole shtf scenario lest I be labeled a "doomer" lol...people don't even know how to sew on a button or grow a tomato nowadays.
But yeah, stand there with your hand out...the people in New Orleans are still standing there waiting for handouts.
If the "s" does indeed "htf", I only hope nobody decides they're going to stop by our joint and try to demand their share. I have but one handout for folks like that.
Self-sufficiency, on ANY level, even the most basic (going out, working hard, earning a living) is gone in this country.
That's why it seems like we're inevitably headed toward a socialist society here. Everyone depends on the government for everything already, why not just convert the whole thing, right?
Feh.

sure, people can say what they want, but I have to right to voice my opinion on what they say, unless you have a problem with freedom of speech. americans are turning into a bunch of whiners and it's kind of embarrassing.

when did americans become so pathetic?
I believe it was 1913-when the federal reserve act was fraudulently put through congress during Christmas break, and the 16th amendment.
Some may say 1791-when the constitution was wrote.
Some may say July 9, 1868-14th amendment-citizenship
We've been enslaved ever since by the international bankers, rothchilds, rockefellers, and some others who actually own it, and no one seems to care? Now people are so conditioned to get a handout from uncle sam, they want more.
There was a time when "we the people" were "free as a king" and we determined how much $ the gov got, and what they spent it on.
Now they spend what they want and tell us what we will pay?
I'd like all my wages on my check, determine if I want to pay social security, determine what I want to pay to the feds and state. Don't mind being taxed when I buy something. I'd like the Federal Reserve
dismantled, and a system of money by the U.S. gov, backed by the U.S. infrastructure. Repeal the unconstitutional 16th amendment.
Most people are Pathetic, running around still thinking they're free, while demanding more services from the very institution (gov) our forefathers warned us about. I didn't create this mess, I was born in a free nation that the people allowed their rights to dwindle away to what we have today.
One more "Patriot Act" and I fear we'll be so Pathetic as to hear "papers please", "why are you entering Virginia and what is your business here?" 9/11 remember? Wow how those bills were written long before that! They just needed the excuse-suckers!

Now come on, I don't think most people think they should have a right to free medical care, but do want affordable insurance to protect them from unexpected huge medical bills that may cause declaraction of bankruptcy and higher costs for all of us. And one shouldn't have to work 2 or more jobs just for medical insurance.

the problem is that, where do we turn when we have a problem? the government. why do we always rely on others to solve our problems? my mother still works two jobs, even though she doesn't have to work 1. we have encouraged the entitlement disease, and not it's coming to pass.
