look at the states...they are all horrible Southern states
Is this happening in Catholic Schools?i cant see teachers getting away with this..
In public schools.I have no problem with spanking but this isnt the Schools job.
Its the parents job.

Well New Jersey is doing a lot better education-wise than most of the states that use paddling.

If I had a kid and a teacher spanked him/her, I would have to reciprocate the effort. Research has shown that spanking is ineffective according to the Human Rights Watch and ACLU.

I guess the "debate is over" on the topic since a couple of liberal infested groups claims something.

Beating a kid for everything is not good. Spanking a child for terrible behavior is totally different. You can overdo anything, but that doesn't mean it is unacceptable when done properly.

I got spanked and I learned a whole lot of respect for teachers.

do you think the majority of kids these days have respect for teachers?

dr spock lied time out does not work. our kids are out of control here.
spanking is appropriate. of course if you are acting like a drunk monkey why should you be
concerned about your kids behavior? what problem.
