Is this happening in Catholic Schools?i cant see teachers getting away with this..
In public schools.I have no problem with spanking but this isnt the Schools job.

Well New Jersey is doing a lot better education-wise than most of the states that use paddling.
If I had a kid and a teacher spanked him/her, I would have to reciprocate the effort. Research has shown that spanking is ineffective according to the Human Rights Watch and ACLU.

I guess the "debate is over" on the topic since a couple of liberal infested groups claims something.
Beating a kid for everything is not good. Spanking a child for terrible behavior is totally different. You can overdo anything, but that doesn't mean it is unacceptable when done properly.
I was paddled no less than 100 times in my middle school and high school years. I've never once started a fight or comitted any type of violent act. Even when a psycho girlfriend punched me in the face, I did not respond with violence. Wonder why all those paddlings didn't cause me to body slam her and beat her to a pulp?
I was never spanked in school and i've never been in trouble at school either...hmmm

spanking is appropriate. of course if you are acting like a drunk monkey why should you be
concerned about your kids behavior? what problem.
