The doctor could not identify it at that time if he wanted to - hence, why would they even ask if you wanted to know the sex?

The only POSSIBLE way sex could have been determined, would be if the abortion was at exactly 12 weeks when genitals partially form, and the doctor opened the jar and picked through the remains to see if that part remained whole.

C'mon, don't you think that it is disingenuous at best to say that its just a jar of blood and tissue taken out of someones uterus? Prior to cutterage and suckage, there was in fact a body that would have been clearly discernable on u/s. All the u/s I have had, not a single one showed a jar full of blood and tissue.

I'm saying after the abortion the contents on sight are blood and tissue. The process of D&C basically scrapes the contents of the uterus and uterine lining, hence the suction of basically just blood and tissue. A whole fetus is not removed.

Thanks for agreeing on the sex issue. Regardless of abortion - it would be impossible for the doctor to determine sex at that point in pregnancy.
