News, Abortion clinic cited for improper disposal.
LATHRUP VILLAGE - - A 12-count warrant has been issued against a Lathrup Village abortion clinic for improperly disposing of medical records, according to Southfield's 46th District Court.
The clinic, WomanCare, was under investigation by police and state officials since the spring after an anti-abortion group found biomedical waste, fetal remains and medical documents in garbage receptacles outside of the facility.

Babies? Babies is now the proper term for describing blood-soaked gauze and unshredded medical records?

Her group prompted the official investigation after a monthlong search allegedly uncovered biomedical waste including blood-soaked gauze and about 300 medical documents in dumpsters outside of the Lathrup Village office and two other WomanCare facilities in Metro Detroit.

Ohhh. I get it. Blood Soaked Gauze = Babies. Right.
They were cited for improperly disposing of medical waste and records instead of putting them in biohazard containers, not "dumping babies in the trash"...
What I want to know is, why isn't the pro-life group being cited for picking through their garbage?

Actually, picking through garbage is legal --- you threw it out, so it no longer belongs to you is the reasoning, I believe.
Still, throwing out medical waste is disgusting and they are right to be fined. As far as it only being bloody gauze....well, how far along are they allowed to perform abortions at this place? It could very well have had more identifiable 'parts' in the trash.

State's rights issue. There is nothing in our Constitution that protects a woman's right to terminate the life of another, regardless of the stage of development of that life. By having consentual sex, doesn't a person give the fetus a right to fully develop into a human child? I mean, that is what naturally occurs from sex, is it not?

This paragraph clearly states that it's not simply medical records.
"The clinic, WomanCare, was under investigation by police and state officials since the spring after an anti-abortion group found biomedical waste, fetal remains and medical documents in garbage receptacles outside of the facility."

Fetal remains could mean anything. One thing it doesn't mean is whole babies, which is what the thread title seems to suggest. Just more typical anti choice BS.
