Of course, as previously stated, that brings up the question, "WHY are not many (if not most) of our politicians in jail for accepting monetary (or other) considerations for their votes in Congress?"

Right, and people stupidly think it is the corporations that are unethical.
No it is the legislator they choose by voting or abstaining from casting a vote that betrays them.

Actually voters and eligible non voters select legislators who refelct their ethics.

That's right, if you are eligible and don't vote you in reality are voting.

You say your vote doesn't count well your non vote certainly does.

Then again we have the Louisianna purchase and Nebraska fire sale offered by Obama to get the votes for Obamacare.

So how do you feel when it is the president buys Democratic votes?
