Oh, come on. Even the jurors in this trial have said they felt that Libby was the fall guy. He's covering for his boss and Rove.
Libby is guilty and should receive a just punishment. The tragedy is that the real instigators aren't even going to be charged.

According to the Presiden'ts daddy (former head of the CIA), revealing the identity of a covert CIA agent amounts to treason. So why would such a pardon be just?

He was convicted of perjury and nothing more.

Too little to late.
The only good is maybe folk will think a little more rather
than fall in line with an administration that hides behind the flag and cross
while furthering policy's that cater to the the rich and powerful.

The leak was Richard Armitage it is common knowledge, but he and Colon Powell were againts Bush, so the prosecuter is not going to go after him. This is not about any leak or Plame, its about tarnishing the administration! And after all this time, Scooter on perjury, is all he can come up with! It ends here, and if Bush has any balls at all, he will turn right around and pardon him right after the appeals.

Libby was convicted of TWO COUNTS OF LYING TO THE GRAND JURY, one count of lying to investigators and one count of obstruction of justice. I think TWO COUNTS is more serious than ONE COUNT, don't you? Since you feel that LYING TO THE GRAND JURY is the most important thing, I expect you to agree with me.

Wasn't Bill Clinton convicted of perjury?
Impeached for it?
Didn't Bill Clinton agree to give up his law license for 5 years and pay $25K to the Arkansas Bar in order to avoid criminal charges in the Lewinsky case?
Didn't Bill Clinton resign from the Supreme Court bar in November 2001 after being suspended and facing disbarrment from them as well?
All this as a result of his perjury conviction. But let me stop now and bow to the supreme moral left....

If he goes to jail he really needs to change his name - to "Bonecrusher" Libby or "Killer" Libby. He won't last a day with the name of Scooter.
