Without firing a shot. The goals are completely, utterly outrageous:

1. U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.

This, right off the bat, is so inimical to US policy. America will NEVER accept peaceful coexistence as an alternative to anything, especially war, with any non-butt-kissing nation.

It's been around since 1963. It's a beautiful time-capsule.

It should be a check-off list.

People should read, and count how close, they are to accomplishing their 45 goals.

Here's an interesting one:

20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policymaking positions.

This has been accomplished, by the US government and their corporate handmaidens.

Has it occurred to you that it was the Americans themselves who accomplished almost all of these things, with neither the Soviets nor the Russians having a hand in the changes? The Soviets must have had some pretty good ideas after all, if a half a century later, we have intituted so many of those things ourselves.

And Russia hasn't been a communist country in over a decade. Autocratic? Maybe.

I don't know if you heard, but communism failed. Capitalism won. Feel free to celebrate this startling revelation if you wish.

Goal of communists. Russians weren't the only commies, lots of Americans supported communism openly before WWII.
