Great post, llama214. I have never watched the Super Bowl nor do I watch any sports on TV. I know I'm in the minority, and I like it.

These great sports heros of ours. Wow! What role models for our children!

Where is the Super Bowl any different than prime time tv? I mean how many turn on the tube any given night and watch show after show, and the actors are making $$$$$. What is the difference?

Right. People watch the Super Bowl to just to get away from the rest of the world for just a little while. We should do something about all the things you listed but c'mon, it's not good to worry about the world ALL THE TIME.
