...slashed half a trillion from Medicare, talking about taxing churches in defiance of the Constitution...hmm, if they're stupid enough to go after guns they'll win the I-don't-want-a-second-term trifecta!
And by the way--there has never been ONE WORD out of the Obama administration or the Democrats on taxing churches. This is another hoax/scare made up by radical conservatives to hit the fear center in their base hard. Shame on you.
but its the left that constantly looks to attack the religion side of the house, but barks if you bring up all 'non-profit"
fyi the irs taxed the 'church of scientology' until 1993
I say tax every organization equally...to include the DNC (a corporation), acorn (a corporation), the RNC ( a corporation)..even the red cross, and the scouts
They ALREADY get involved in politics at every turn. When they had the anti gay prop here in 2005, EVERY texas church preached to their flocks to vote against gays. when hillary clinton came to san antonio last year, the archbishop made quite a scene when she came to speak at st mary's univ without his blessing. most churches put out "non-political" fliers which show where each candidate votes on political issues of the day. Churches need to pay taxes and stop being subsidized bythe rest of us or SHUT UP.
Not ALL churches. Some of the more progressive Christian churches support gay marriage and ordain gay clergy. My pastor happens to be a lesbian with a family.
No, but he plays President, but not very well, in fact, as poorly as anyone, no check that, far more poorly than anyone ever has before.
