Every time I turn on FOXNEWS I can not get over how attractive the women are reporting the news. Where do they find these women? They have to be the sexist things I have ever seen. More attractive and sexy than the women in Playboy or Miss America.
But they are generally so pretty and blond and wearing so much makeup and so girly, that it had to believe anyone is taking them seriously and paying much attention to the political issue they are talking about. These are sex symbols not true Jornalists, aren't they?
(Please, lets not talk about the right ring slant of FOX just the FOXNEWS Gals)

You will struggle to find journalist in any cable/tv news entertainment programming. In fact, the BBC refers to these types of people as "news readers" and they generally rotate fairly frequently and aren't paid anything near what ours are because they don't hold the same celebrity status that they do here in America.

TV is a visual medium. There are a lot of ugly people in print journalism and radio.
A few of those pretty women on Fox are lawyers.
You know, if being a news anchor is the top job to aspire to in TV news and if some type of head editor is the top job to aspire to in print journalism, you go where you have the best chance to succeed when you get out of college.
I have a few friends who are broadcasters and they bring up the same issues with Fox, but they say Fox needs some kind of distraction and draw because they have folks like Geraldo and Bill Oreilly on the air. Seriously, this is what they said.
Megan Kelly on Fox News.....WOW
And sharp as a tack to boot.
She was a very succesful attorney before becoming a news person. Some of the Fox "babes" are also attorneys as well as some of the guys.
