It's simple.... I choose not to be offended.... I don't care. The fact that someone uses those terms says something more about them than is does me.

When you call someone white trash you are saying they are stupid inferior low class human beings...TRASH - I am sure "trash" exists in all races - but if you are not trash - you will be offended being misidentified.
The same thinking can be applied to *******. We can't even type the correct spelling without it being cut by the modersators.
Why should the names the OP listed NOT be cut out by the moderators?
I didn't specify Wwhite trash". I was responding to ALL the names listed by the OP.
They won't riot, but they would surely be out there in front of MSNBC with signs, protesting. There's no reason to think blacks would "riot" over the "N" word being used, as evidenced by the fact its used a lot, and riots are exceedingly rare.

Those that use pejorative terms aren't powerful unless you hand that power over to them. Why would you give that power to someone so lacking in common decency? Oh, and those that get their knickers in a twist about someone else using names such as these are no better. I have better things to do with my emotions and energy.

The worst thing I have ever been called was, a day after I got back from "Nam, was "baby killer". I responded with a "Not yet" and let him live. The next worse was by a French chick in a Montreal bar that called me a "German". I responded by stating I was an American and the evening immediately got a lot better.
I simply do not respond to insults. I do respond to threats.
