No sense of humor

Far down on the forum page there is one called "About the Forum."
A couple days ago someone posted there asking the moderators to start a separate Mexico forum. I replied that there was already a couple of forums for Mexico, but they were called "California" and "Los Angeles."
My post was deleted just moments later. I get no respect!

(actually, I've concluded the modeartors here are usually pretty fair)

Hey that gave me a laugh! I've found the moderator's almost paronoid to a fault in the general U.S. section, to the degree that we loose useful information. I still get a kick that I said something bad about the mayor of Memphis and that got deleted as a "personal insult" as it was explained, like the mayor posts here or something.

Now here on the otherhand, sometimes I wonder if this forum is even moderated. Which is fine I guess, everyone getting mad at each other and throwing around insults is just part of the politics discussion (to a certain degree). I get tired of the diverging and off topic responses however.
