Alright Brad!

Here's one thing I don't understand - why is is legal for people out of state to pour money into a campaign? It's none of their business! We even see the same thing here in Colorado with out of state organizations dumping money into smear campaign commercials. This should be illegal!

It's not illegal & should stay that way, in my opinion. Donations must be public however. Issues like gay marriage effect other states in several ways [most notably by law suits against states who don't allow gay marriage]. I don't know what is done with the money other than to organize groups to campaign for or against gay marriage. The only TV commercial for gay marriage never actually identifies the issue.
