The attackers got one thing. Death. If that's what they wanted then, yes, they got it alright. The AQ leadership didn't get what they wanted either because, the last time I checked, they were no closer to bringing an Islamic Caliphate to the world today then they were on 9/10/01.

Instead, they are all dead or in hiding. While the threat remains, they were not able to affect the US to any great degree. Now, if you want to say that the Bush Administration changed this country, then we would be in complete agreement but the truth is, they would have found a way to invade Iraq with or without the 9/11 attacks.

The attackers aren't winning. They won't ever win. This whole if we don't do this or that, then the "terrorists win," is just so much disingenuous crap.

2. Leave - Go somewhere else that isn't ruined (according to you anyway).

3. Or continue to whine and complain - Let's face it, this is what you will continue to do. It's easy to point and say "THIS IS WRONG!!!" but a heck of a lot harder to actually come up with a solution isn't it?

Inm other words, this board is now open only to Positive Posters.

Suuggested topics:

*Puppies are so cute.

*Hurray for school crosswalk guards.

*Mommies need love, too

And don't you dare whine and compain about this post. There are already too many whiners here.

The military industrial congressional cabals’ have gotten the unending war and perpetual profits. Mission accomplished. Now they only need bin Laden as an excuse and have no intention of actually finding him.

You either didn't read my entire post or have reading comprehension problems. I clearly stated that our country has, indeed, changed but much of the change came at the hands of the Bush Administration.

What you're feeling is the cowardly relief of putting down someone who you know is right in order to mitigate your own personal feelings of inadecuacy and worththlessness.

OR it could be you've got diarrhea again.

I guess that may explain why there have been no attacks in the US since 9/11. Guys like you talk tough but really, deep down, you are nothing but a scared little girl.
There's been no attacks since 9/11 because once Bin Laden saw GW Bush overreactions to it he figured no further attacks were necessary. I mean really, how could Bin Laden ever hope to inflict even a tenth of the damage against the USA that your dear pal Dubya has achieved so far.

And now if you'll excuse me I have some scout cookies to sell......
