I don't think she asked for any specific plane! If you had to fly back and forth from calif to dc as often as she..would you want to stop and refuel?

True statement. She was offered a plane but she wanted a bigger one so that she could haul her family, friends, press, and colleages back and forth with her, you know, like the President does.

So the new speaker doesnt like a gulf stream 5, wants a boeing 757! Queen pelosi is starting to show her true self. Talk about the rich expectations. I needed a good laugh tonite! All politicians are rich fatcats that think there .... dont stink. Maybe she could save us some money and ride the bus like some of us regular people. OK just commercial flights. And why does she keep repeating she's third inline for the presidency?

How could a woman, she is attractive, carries herself well, well educated, has children and grandchildren be supportively, adamant about the killing of babies between their mother's legs or cutting them to pieces for a process that has not shown anything positive..adult stem cell, well, it killed a friend of mine; I also know it has helped several..but it is not killing or cannibalizing an infant.
America has chosen to become immoral and buried the word common sense. We have also forgotten the intent of our forefathers, their sacrifices in life and often of life to ruin this nation that they had such great hopes and visions for.
Do you think Americans will ever wake up and start to put the government back where it is supposed to be...serving us, not our serving them? If not, it will worsen and you will see more rules, laws and another move toward communism/socialism..I am almost old enough to die so I don't care. I fight and I do advocacy work - for future generations, but face it, one little voice, in Wyoming is not going to do much good.
I have no problem with the Speaker of the House (whomever it may be) being flown by the DOD for security reasons. The stipulation is that it can only be used to fly to/from their home district or for "Official Congressional" business. They cannot use to travel for personal reasons, fundraisers, etc. Pelosi has already been turned down for use of a plane to fly to a Democratic retreat last weekend. It was only a 2 hr drive from DC.
FYI - Hastert was flown to/from Chicago on a Gulfstream G3. That plane can make it to California without having to stop for refueling. That being said, there is no reason for her to have access to anything but the same type of plane Hastert used.

Her security detail is no bigger than Hastert's was. Trust me, I know. That being said, she should not use anything other the Gulfstream III or V.
Hopefully the DOD won't cave and give her a bigger plane.
