You know, it strikes me that there were roads and the police and a judicial system BEFORE an income tax and an international empire...

LMFAO LMFAO ROFL

Are you kidding? Spending like crazy but you are suggesting we vote for a man who wants universal healthcare (among other outrageous measures). Right.

Aye, and a person who has not wavered one bit in claiming he WILL raise taxes. The same guy that has a mantra in his speech about how we will all have to "sacrifice" for our future. He might as well have gotten up and said "gimme your wallets, and don't forget the jewelry too!" *chuckle*

1. Let the companies go under or get bought out by other companies.
2. Remove all capital gains taxes.
3. Remove all income taxes. Every America should not be taxed to WORK!!!
4. Pull the troops out of our 700 bases around the world and put some on the border.
5. Pull out of Iraq leave a few thousand speical forces to find Bin Laden.
6. All new entitlement programs are removed including medical for illegals.
7. Government spending on the federal level is cut by 50%.
8. Gold and Silver are legal tender.
9. Dollars are back by gold, congress has full oversight of treasury dept and audited.
10. MOST IMPORTANTLY Abolish the Federal Reserve System.
I'm with you on this too. Good old common sense. BTW, our gold and silver coins are legal tender... the 1 ounce American Eagle has a face value of $50 and the silver dollar $1. But I think I know what you mean.

I love it! Phil Gramm is the one who wrote the deregulation bill in 1999 letting mortgage companies and Wall Street do business together without impunity and now the chickens are coming home to roost! If you want financial advice don't ask a Republican unless your are McCain whereas he would give you the following: marry a Coca Cola heiress!

The first US roads were built by private companies and tolls were charges to turn a profit.

Police were usually appointed by towns and villages and paid from their revenues. The Judicial system is created by the Constitution and is one of the few things Congress does have a right to tax to support. However, the income tax isn't the only way to bring in revenue.
