It was cool. Never knew about the whole sun-god thing. I already knew about the Fed and 9/11 parts though.
The scariest part which I'm not sure if they covered in the movie is that some say the Mayan Calendar predicts that in 2012 the magnetic field of the North and South Poles will flip. That will be the end of the age and most worrisome, the end of life on this planet as we know it.

FUD from people who don't know any better. There's a lot of it out there surrounding this issue.
The magnetic poles are in constant motion, and they're not all in one place. There are splashes of "north" in the southern hemisphere, and splashes of "south" in the northern hemisphere. These islands of reversal grow, shrink and move.
The magnetic field exists as a result of the molten core of our planet. As long as we have that, we'll have a magnetic field. The concern is that during the "flipping" process, when there's about the same amount of "north" as "south" in each hemisphere, the field will be too weak to deflect the harmful radiation coming from the sun.
the part that really bothered me was the chip that they put inside your body.
