THIS BAILOUT SUCKS TO THE BONE. IT IS WRONG WRONG WRONG.
The Republicans knew that Freddie mac/Fannie Mae needed to be regulated but it was turned down by the Democrats.
The Republicans know that if the banks start closing down, that would spell trouble for the entire country.
What would you do if you wake up then swiped your credit card or bank card at a machine only to find out your bank has closed. What if all the banks closed. There will be massive panic!!!!
When you can't use your credit card next week because there is no more money that the banks will lend you - you'll change your tune.
This is why the BAILOUT IS AN EMERGENCY!
I AM VERY MUCH AGAINST IT. Look at my previous posts from days ago. But I just realized that if all the banks start closing down, there will be ultimate CHAOS and this is the only way it can be avoided. There is NO OTHER WAY!!!!
IT SUCKS but we are paying for stupid decisions that our government made. We voted for these people (although I am Republican) and it is all our fault!!!!
