The latest group that needs to be bailed out by the Federal Government is the States. Now the largest State in the Nation, California, is looking for a 7 billion dollar bail out by the Feds. This is scary,

This is the perfect example of why governments were meant to be small and limited...so now we'll need to bailout a state as well? I suspect my own "beloved" state of new jersey will be next...

If you read the article, it says that CA routinely borrows money this time of year and pays it back after Christmas and when taxes come in during the spring.

I read the article. Regardless of what they do in the past, my point was current credit crunch realities are going to force the American taxpayers to bail out more than Wall Street.
