I feel if your going to risk having sex without birth control or condoms, than you should be responisble enough to bring a baby into this world, than murder it just because of your stupidity. Than agian I can't really force any woman to have a child, but I know some people who have had at least three abortions.
It is a cruel thing and I don't understand how any woman would want their child murdered.

Okay, so if someone is irresponsible for an hour, they should be responsible for the next 18 years. Not getting that logic. Children shouldn't be considered a penalty for irresponsibility or stupidity. That's... stupid!

I have attended several abortions (pre and post Roe vs Wade).
If a woman knows she is pregnant and doesn't want the baby for one of a dozen reasons, she should opt to have an early term abortion and not delay so to avoid what folks say is killing a baby.
If you don't like pictures, skip the link. It's a museum with many different pictures of human development. You'll see a 3 month old fetus, 12 weeks, barely developed (page down on your right, mid-way).

If society was perfect, which I think we can all agree is not the case, we might not be having this discussion.
Too many babies go unwanted; too many young people have babies who are not prepared to take care of them; too many children are treated badly; too many societal ills make child-bearing and child-rearing difficult--abortion is not the answer. Abortion should not be used as birth control, but abortion should remain an option, a choice that each woman makes for herself!

Answer first, “what is your position on the death penalty”? For it, or against it.

How so? Innocent life, convicted by a jury of your peers.

This thread is about abortion not the death penalty.
If you'd like to discuss the death penalty, let's start another thread and we can go at it.

I'm pro choice but the limit should be lowered a bit, maybe 14-16 weeks. I have taken one girl to get an abortion, not mine. It was during a time in the early 90's when the christian crazies were making some noise and getting violent again. Luckily for them, nobody was at the office when we got there but the Dr. and staff.
Never had to remove it from the holster
Keep that in mind the next time you want to block someone's way who's trying to get an abortion. Mind your own business.

Well I know many “pro choice” anti “death penalty” hypocrites.
Dead is dead
Murder is murder
I see no difference.

I second that - all of it! I'm very much pro-choice, but not "pro-abortion", as many like to label it... but as you said, this is typically a discussion that doesn't end well, so I too will refrain from saying more.
