It hasn't changed my vote... none of the candidates for President, Senate, or House that I wish to vote for favored the bill. You're exactly right that we do have more than 2 choices
I won't be voting for anyone who voted to pass this bill. That means in my state 2 new senators and 2 out of 4 new Reps. I'm proud that at least 2 of my elected officials stood firm on their "No" vote.
I never considered Nobama, and won't be voting for McCain. I can't vote for Ron Paul so it will be bob barr or charles baldwin.
Paul endorsed Baldwin. I don't really like Baldwin's stances on many issues since I think he's pandering too much to the religious types. I see no justification for that in the Constitution. Therefore, I have intended to vote for either Barr or Nader. Nader is a write in in my state and the old ladies here might not be able to help me with that. So Bob Barr is my most likely choice.
I also intend to vote Libertarian for governor. Munger (L-NC) is a very well versed and intelligent candidate with lots of solutions that neither of the other two candidates have even thought of. You could see McCrory's eyes glazing over in the debate. The Democrat didn't even show up. It would have been a bloodbath against those two.
I gotta be honest. They McKinney/Clemente campaign photo is a little too "The Color Purple" for me. It reminds me of Celie and Nettie. No, I am not a racist. I love that movie.
