Government as God?
The Government shares much of the blame for this economic crisis.
Government hasnt solved 1 problem in this country no matter how..
Much money they throw at it!I find it hard to believe that many..
Americans are expecting the Government to solve everything and..
Give hand-outs,etc.The Government outgrew its role long ago.
Both parties have been guilty.Bush has tried to outspend the Liberals..
And done well at that!Do we really want government to slowly..
Work their way into Healthcare, etc and other places they dont belong!
Its been happening more and more!

I doubt we'll ever effectively stop government growth, the people in charge's jobs depend on doing something new every year and I don't see them giving up those cushy jobs without a fight. Without a major overhaul of the Constitution we're stuck with what we got. That being siad I'd much rather see their efforts focused on improving America and the lives of Americans rather tha some country halfway around the world and/or aiding guys in the corner offices while telling the average Joe/Jane "you're on your own".

We don't need to overhaul the Constitution, we need to simply demand that it be upheld. At this point our only hope is through education.

Exactly. The Constitution was brilliant and the people who want it thrown out and/or weakened have dull intellects compared to the founding fathers. Selfish motivations can't be allowed to win.

So true. Washington, Jefferson and Franklin would have never let Bush hold any position higher than a brewer. And they would jail his handlers right now if they were here.
