Ron Paul is jsut an extreme right-winger who understood what ALL Liberals have been saying for decades. If you over the economy to unbridled greed, this is what you get. The truth of economic theory is the exact 180-degree opposite of what big bueiness has been telling us, and it doesn't matter which way you go around the circle to get there.

Sure McCain, Bush, and Obama are all to be blamed... they mocked what they didn't know instead of fessing up to the truth. Ron Paul knew as did I and now it is all coming to fruition... people don't seem to understand the fundamentals and that the fundamentals where thrown away decades ago and people were sold lies so that government could steal from them and aided companies to steal more from taxpayers... they thought we had a bottomless wallet.. turns out, there was a bottom... the lies we were sold were in the forms of handouts and entitlements and EVEN TODAY people are STILL demanding more lies so that the stealing can continue.. people like to blame the rich, most of the rich didn't steal, they worked to get there... a small proportion of the rich did steal and we are not punishing them, instead we gave them a 700 billion dollar bailout for the CEOs but don't be fooled, there is another small population of the rich trying to usurp it all, they are the celebrities and athelets... they are RIGHT behind the CEOs to try to steal money but in a different way (the opposite extreme if you will)... so here we are blaming the wealthy... when we should be blaming the governemnt/business entity that stoled and created the mess and PAID YOU OFF with entitlements and handouts... Ron Paul knew and wanted the lies to stop and to KILL the government/big business entity... but you didn't want to lose your entitlements and handouts... and now you pay the price for it... so stop crying... you mocked the man who would fix it all for your own little "fix"...

Of course. The entire global financial structure melts down, and it was all the fault of liberals. And poor people earning minimum wage. And illegal aliens. The US national debt is now $30,000 per person, $100,000 per family. and it is ALL the fault of those damned illlegal aliens and liberals who coddle them. The average family has lived $100,000 above their means, and it's all the liberals fault. The conservatives kept warning us to stop buying all their imported junk, conservatives warned us not to borrow money and max out our credit cards, but we ignored the sage adivice of all those conservatives, who own all the banks, and tried to talk us out of variable rate mortgages. Its all the liberals fault.

ITA. Excellent post. The deliberate partyline divisiveness has resulted in what we are experiencing today. The American sheeple, their selfish economic based greed and ignorance is what has caused this current crisis.

It is unfortunate that those of us who remain credit worthy, live within our means and did not partake of any of the above-mentioned, are trapped on this economic version of the titanic.

Ron Paul was indeed the best man for the job. Unfortunately, the American idol judges have already locked in the vote tally of the sheeple.
