Why aren't churches multiracial?

yes, I agree, it's a comfort thing. As far as the Catholic Church it was white when I used to belong and the Priest's were matched with the same ethnic heritage as the parishoners. So it's comfort! The world is now shrinking so things are different in some areas.

We go to a reformed protestant church and the congregation is mixed. The reformed protestant church about 4 miles away is probably 99.9% white. Whats the difference. The church that's nearly all white is in a basically all white town. Our church is in a multi-racial town. I guess if there were 4 or 5 reformed protestant churches in our town to choose from the facts may be different. Bottom line I think it's the ability to choose from a number of churches locally and the demographics of your town that dictates who attends what church!
