I should scare you. I'm a threat to your world. And to any other world built from fictions, fables and imaginations...

actually, the majority of it is pretty sound logic, though much of it i believe to be from a narrow perspective. obviously i disagree with some of the inherent values in place, but this is the kind of stuff that we are going to have to be able to make a case against, and resorting to insults merely because you can't find an immediate answer is not going to win us any points.

i think that it is a flawed position to claim that the human fetus, and even earlier, the human embryo, is in need of any substantiation as anything but a human being. i need to investigate further in order to decide whether that is primarily a physiological or philosophical disagreement, but i am pretty confident that the defining nature is the same.

the though, is one of the problems that i see; too many people have too many ideas about the definition and value of human life.

There was no insult intended was I simply stating my thoughts. She scares the **** out of me.
Its not from lack of answers that I back away its a lack of common ground. Theres no way to have a productive dialog with a person that won't even concede simple points.
If I say the sky is blue and am forced to prove that position there's no point in going on. Certain things should be considered "givens". The post saganista was responding to should have been that.
I have nothing to say to anyone that thinks abortions are an acceptable form of birth control, or justifies partial birth abortion.

Good luck with this opinion, I agree, but good luck.
