I've never EVER seen a car with an Obama-Biden sticker also have an American flag or a Support the Troops bumper stickers. In my old neighborhood, the people who fly the American flag in their yards or put troops ribbons on their mailbox are all conservatives and Republicans.

Well then you have never seen MY car. My car has a big bumper sticker that says "Proud Parent of a Soldier" on it AND it also has the Jesus "fish" sign on it. My family has been in every war since the Revolution, my oldest daughter is a current SGM, and I am the widow of a Viet Nam Marine. And I'd be willing to bet that I have done more to support Veterans than you. OH, and being from Wisconsin, I certainly support farm subsidies. When you generalize this way, you are just as wrong as if I were to suggest that everybody voting for McCain is a KKK member or a draft dodger who sits in their office and makes money out of sending other people's children to die.

So did you enjoy your hitch in the Peace Corps?

When you say "patriotic", do you mean less likely to want to get involved in, get maimed in, or die in a stupid war brought on by a village idiot based upon false pretenses? Well yes, if you define patriotic in that sense, liberals are not very patriotic.

No liberal, including Bill Clinton (who is not really all that liberal, by the way), started a war based on these beliefs. No liberal grandstanded over Ms. Schiavo's deathbed. But you miss the point, anyway.

I was making fun of the commenter who said that conservatives were fact-based and liberals just believed stuff willy-nilly. Therefore it's not necessary for me to point out liberal fallicies. So you have made only yourself look idiotic.

Thanks!

No offense, but I don't think patriotism has anything to do with how many flag stickers you put on a car or whether or not you put a ribbon on a mailbox.

We marched past socialism a long time ago. Where were you?

We have a national defense, national parks, medical and retirement safety nets, national transportation systems, regulations, national transportation systems. We even own banks, now!

Kind of silly to be worried about that.

This is like asking, are conservatives less intelligent? Which is to say, it's a ridiculous question.
