Wal-Mart to carry Plan B contraception - Mar. 3, 2006

It seems the pro-abortion feminist lobby is very powerful, especially in Massachusetts. There's been a debate previously about whether a pharmacist has the right to refuse to fill Plan B in a store that carries it.

Now this story is different. This is forcing a store to carry a certain product. Will independent pharmacies also be required to carry Plan B or other oral contraceptives in the future? Its disgusting how rabid the liberal feminist movement is about promoting abortion and contraception. Before people get all over me, think about it. Should Blockbuster be required by law to carry X-rated movies? Should Chipotle be required to sell burgers? Should every restaurant be required to have kosher or vegetarian meals? Where is that going to end.

Its debatable whether a pharmacist working in a store that carries Plan B has the right not to dispense it. HOWEVER THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD NOT HAVE A RIGHT TO REQUIRE A PRIVATELY OWNED BUSINESS TO SELL ANYTHING. If feminazis with their slutty instincts don't agree with THIS, then they do value their own beliefs over freedom.

One reason I'm voting for McCain is because I don't want to vote alongside these people, or alongside illegal immigrants, the liberal elite, and radical leftists/hippies.

wal mart is a private business and should be allowed to carry products they want. they don't sell porn in wal mart, I should know, I have looked. how can a group of idiots force them to sell anything. if they carry it, the pharmacist should have to dispense it, but they shouldn't be forced to carry it.

Do they carry viagra?

As you are well aware, Walmart frequently puts all of their competition out of business, so there is no place else to go.

What do you want someone to do?
Have a baby because you don't believe in contraception?

Why are you even on this forum? The majority of your posts do nothing but criticize women & call them whores. Why are you even a pharmacist? Thank god you're not my pharmacist, I would be embarrassed to have someone like you dispensing medication to people. Do you express the same disdain for people who need inhalers, pain killers, high blood pressure medication? After all, w/your logic, they've brought those problems on themselves that they need those meds for. I've seen nothing but disgust come from your posts, you're not even worth responding to anymore.

It's a little baffling why this person would go into pharmaceuticals when he's so obviously not only chauvinistic but clearly loathes women in general. Why waste your time?

why should a private company be forced to sell a product? you can't go to an italian joint and demand that they serve sushi.

If they don't want to carry it, that's fine, but if they do the pharmacist should absolutely NOT refuse to fill it.

In addition, to the OP.... You're post is full of ugliness and hate, I use contraception so am I a bad person??? No, I'm not. I just don't want to be burdened with a child at this time in my life, and yes, for me they would be a burden. Also, we're not 'liberal feminazis', we're REAL WOMEN who are pioneering for womens rights, and that includes the right to choose abortion. We're not pro-abortion, we're pro-choice which means women that choose life are commended not condemned and those who don't feel that they should be bringing a child into their life can choose not too.

Get out of my womb, you don't belong there.
