Didnt John McCain say something to the effect that if a woman is being raped they should try to enjoy it??
Clayton Williams (Republican) in Texas said that and gave Ann Richards (Democrat) the governership for it. I don't think McCain has said it. If he has, does anyone have a link to confirm it? Gosh, I hope he didn't even though I voted for Obama.
I suspect that if that is true, and it may be, that it is an indication of the number of men (you know, good rugged "he-men") in Alaska, as opossed to the number of attractive, available women. There will always be a certain percentage of these that feel they can "take what they want". . . . we certainly have a lot of "growing" to do as a culture!

Wrong. The stats are true, but your reasoning is off.
All it does is prove that trying to associate Palin with higher rape rates in Alaska is just as invalid a logical argument as attempting to tie Obama to the crime problems of the city of Chicago.
