I predict overseas markets will surge overnight and so will the Wall Street market tomorrow.

What do you folks think?
Up or Down?

Ken

I think it will definitely go up - it usually does after the election - since uncertainty about the future has been reduced.

It went up today. They knew Obama was going to win. The majority of Americans think Obama is better on the economy.

Wow, see Obama isnt even president yet and everything is so much better, why he didnt even need to write a bill, change a law, or take possession of his new job.

How many will be out buying new cars, houses, magicly find jobs tomorrow that didnt exist today.

I wonder why they would think that.

I'm gonna watch tomorrow and if I come close to my initial investment, I am withdrawing my money and putting into something safe and steady for a year... so I am hopeful

Um, it goes up after every single election. Always through the month of January. Don't read too much into it. Again, it always happens. I will say I read a report from Forbes that predicted if Obama wins and Deocrats gain a super majority, the dow drops 1200-1500. I personally think it will be up for a few weeks.

* this is not a comical oriented post.

I voted up and up. The stock market is based on consumer confidence, and that will be up with the election results.

Agreed. With Bush out and Obama in, confidence that there will be less shenanigans on Wall St will be much higher.
