It is a sick feeling to realize that our Nation just headed down a course that we may never ever make it back from. Like sheep to slaughter, the masses came out and voted out of ignorance, greed and selfishness to send our country down a path that we will probably never return.
Now is a time for us to hit our knees in prayer and to draw close to our families and loved ones.
God help us!

Everytime I read a post like this... as if haven't been in serious economic trouble for more than a year... I seriously wonder about brain quotient.
Here's some advice... how about abandoning prayer and use your brain to make sound decisions... I don't think faith is helping you.

I don't believe I've attacked anyone here. I might certainly attack falsehood posted as fact, and thanks to the efforts of an assortment of mostly right-wingers, that alone is enough to keep me busy here most days. I might also attack or question claims for which there is no apparent basis and logic that seems flawed or inconsistent. If, for instance, someone were to suggest that socio-economic reactions are similar to chemical reactions in that each is governed by some set of knowable natural laws, and that hence repetitions of such reactions will lead in each case to the exact same outcomes, I might well be tempted to refer to that claim as being beneath foolishness. I would suspect in such a case that the author was of such narrow experience and self-centered focus as to have lost nearly all touch with the perspective of a broad and complex world. There are certainly many who struggle with complexity and therefore prefer simplicity, but assuming simplicity to exist and to apply does not make it so. This latter trouble indeed causes many to abandon life in the real world, taking up residence instead in some bizarro-world or other, where things that don't actually add up in reality seem to make perfect sense. This, I gather, is some comfort to them. I think it would not be for me...

I for one cannot WAIT to see where he leads us...it can only go up from what we've had to deal w/for the past 8 years.
My curiosity makes me wonder where this will all lead but my education and experience warns me that my curiosity may be akin to that of a steer being herded toward the back door of the slaughterhouse. I am not optimistic.

Come on over and work with me for a day or two. Then tell me I don't/didn't work for the money I have. You have no idea. Do you do my taxes? Do you balance my books monthly? Do you schedule jobs for me? Do you do anything that would give you a glimpse into what I really do and have done in the past? Have I made any assumptions about you and your lifestyle? No I haven't but you seem preoccupied with mine. You are trying to sound so damn knowledgeable but have no clue of what you are saying.
I don't see how "Bushie" could spread the wealth to me when I am working 12 or 14 hour days day in and day out, in the Summer heat or winter cold. What part of breaking a sweat earning an honest living don't you understand? I don't get tax cuts for big business. I am not rich, far from it. But what I have I earned and didn't have handed to me by government agencies through programs either for the poor or the rich.
