Arrow Exit Polls were 100% accurate in 2008. Why were they so far off 2004?

Take a look at this Real Clear Politics map created using a combination of polls from 11/3/2008.

RealClearPolitics - Electoral Map

Then compare it to a map of the actual results from the 2008 election.

The polls in the above Real Clear Politics map are from these polls:

RealClearPolitics - Election 2008 - General Election: McCain vs. Obama

Every single state was predicted EXACTLY CORRECT !!!

If we were this accurate this year ... then why were the polls so far off in 2004?

The only reasonable explanation is that Bush Stole the 2004 election!

After the 2004 election, the Bushies kept arguing that the polls are never right.

At that same time, the pollsters (like Gallup, Rasmussen, Zogby) stated their polls have always been correct (to within a very small margin of error).

Well I would like to hear the Bushies explain how the 2008 polls were 100% accurate, and yet somehow in 2004, they were off by a big margin?

Also worth mentioning, is that every state exit poll that was (supposedly) way off in 2004, always resulted in Bush winning that state .... never Kerry!

FloridaVoter is on a distinguished road
Why dont you have that tattooed on your inner thigh leg to feel that trickle up your leg when you think of Obama like your MSNBC commentators do.

I am sure you will take your hate of Bush to your grave and nothing will change it for you. Anyone tell you hating is bad for your health.

I think I'd rather wait for a reply from someone with an intelligent answer!

You might want to look at Diebold and a lot of controversies and lawsuits about the 2004 vote.
There were many inconsistencies.
Some say the election was stolen.

You can probably google the 2004 election and find some interesting reading.
I rebuilt my computer and lost most of my links.

I think this election was so visible that it couldn't be done again.

First off, your links are not to "exit polls" they are pre-election polls.

And since we don't know the actual final vote counts (and won't until all the ballots are counted) comparing statistical results at this point is knid of Moot.

Gee, Funny how 2004 was "stolen" while 2006 was all legit.

I don't think so and I didn't state that.
Since we were discussing presidential politics, I thought I'd actually comment on presidential politics.

Public,

The people whose candidate lost are the ones starting these absurd, poor me, threads.
Not the people who voted for Obama.

Don't cry foul when your side started it.

Gee, Funny how 2004 was "stolen" while 2006 was all legit.
Exit Polls are basically the same as the pre-exit polls.

The Exit Polls are simply done in person, and held on election day.

And the pre-exit polls I listed are from Nov 3rd, the day before the 2008 election.

All the pre-exit polls exactly matched the states actual results in 2008.

Yet in 2004, many of the battleground states went to Bush, even though the exit polls showed they favored Kerry.

Please explain how the 2004 exit polls were so far off ... while 2008 was 100% accurate?

In 2004, I remember lots of Bushies arguing that exit polls are never correct, and meanwhile there was a ton of statistical polling evidence saying Bush couldn't have legitimately won in 2004.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr wrote a lengthy article on the 2004 election, which detailed the many polling discrepancies.

You can read the article here:
