I don't ever want to hear about Obama or Palin or McCain or William Ayers again. But I guess I won't get my wish. And what's the point of extending these things a full year now--can anyone explain why that's necessary?

Up for a civil war then? lol

It is a bit ridiculous how dragged out and consequently expensive our elections are in this country.

You can always stop watching tv and then November 5th it will be somewhat normal.
If McCain wins, I will probably be out destroying things and then I'll head to the gym and take out my agression out on the machines.

What about "unity"? Or does that only apply if your preferred candidate wins?

Speaking of being sick of things, I'm so sick of Democrats and/or liberals who preach tolerance, constantly rant about how hateful and angry "the right" is, yet say things like the above (and many of them follow through).

If McCain wins, be a grown up and accept it.

Yeah, it only applies when my preferred candidate wins. Obama is not my FAVE but eh...lesser of the two evils and the candidate I voted for didn't have a snowball's chance in July of winning.

I'm a liberal who is sick of Conservatives and you're a Conservative sick of liberals: YAY!!

Let's just agree to disagree. I'll keep hating conservatives and you'll keep hating me.

Funny how things work. If McCain wins, the peaceful liberals will likely riot. If Obama wins, the vile republicans will work towards getting congress back.

Thank you for making my point even more - I don't hate you for your beliefs. I may disagree with you, even vehemently, but I respect your right to your opinion and while I may think you're wrong about something, there is no "hate".

Your statement above about "keep hating conservatives" is exactly what's wrong with the "left" (Democrats, liberals - whatever label you feel fits best). There's so much hate and divisiveness coming from that side, despite their lip service to "reaching across the aisle" or "working together to solve problems". With most, it's their way or the highway. Their position is right and absolute, and if you have a different opinion, you're ignorant, a redneck, uneducated...

IDK ask Clinton and Obama why they felt the need to start the ***** race sooner than before. You're right, I'm tired of it, too.
