YUP! Love Stephanie!!! And Big Ed is going into his 5th year!!!
But Thomm Hartmann is still the smartest!!! His history of this economic crisis from the ridiculous "supply side" economics to now was very enlightening, his history of radio talk shows was very interesting.....as are most of his shows.
Now, WHO said liberal talk shows can't succeed????
To me, NPR is like taking a sleeping pill, and liberal talk is too negative, mean spirited, and glass half empty.

So you aren't interested in politics(either side), the latest news, world news, human interest, Opinions, economics, science( space, latest technology, inventions, environmental issues, nature, animals, farming, hunting, biology, medicine, inventions, etc.), arts and entertainment(sports and sports figures, music(jazz, country, Celtic, hip-hop, rap, rock, blues, ancient, modern, etc.), paintings, sculpture, movies, books, .....
NPR covers it all and you have no interest in ANYTHING!!! No wonder it puts you BACK to sleep!!!

Liberal talk radio fails because it is just not good radio..its boring or all they talk about is how much they hate Bush. I liked Rachel Maddows radio show because she talked about alot of things. I do not like her on her TV show because now she is just an extension of Keith Olbermann.

Don't know who you've been listening to but Miller, Schultz and Hartmann do NOT talk about how much they hate anyone BUT YOU comment when you haven't even heard them ! Is that logical???No.
And I do realize that facts may be boring to some.
I was wondering yesterday why liberal talk radio is never nearly as successful as conservative talk radio. Do liberals prefer other media to the talk radio format, or does NPR suffice for most? I'd love to hear any answers from liberals or conservatives.
I think liberals appreciate more intellectually stimulating programs and fact-based news shows as opposed to ignorant talking heads and opinion news that is rampant on talk-radio and the fox news chanel.
-The conservative point of view is based on common sense and when people listen to it they constantly find themselves saying "yeah that makes sense!"
-The liberal point of view is based on feelings and feelings do not lend themselves to that kind of forum. Simply put: "Thinking with your heart" cannot be expressed in a logical fashion.
I think you have it completely backward. On social issues such as gay marriage, abortion, and stem cell research, it is the conservatives thinking with their high and mighty moral hearts, and the liberals using the common sense approach "stay out of my bedroom and my business". I listen to left leaning radio a lot, and often say to my self "yeah that makes sense!" If I listen to conservative media, I often think "how can they be so closed minded and hateful!"
Conservative talk shows host have never mentioned a conspiracy. More like irresponsibility.
