There are a lot of positive plans Obama has promised, but prior to and since the election has not said how he plans to implement those promises in great detail.

I fully expect that in the coming weeks Obama needs to give extremely specific plans on how he is going to get the ball rolling. Four years in not a lot of time. Obama can't afford to rest and sit back because he just got into office.
I wholeheartedly agree with your response in all aspects. He is getting to the point where one simply can't blame Bush anymore and in the next few months were are going to learn whether he is the modern day Reagan/Clinton (who if you really look back at the equivalent point in history, i.e. 1983 and 1994 were in very similar situations and turned themselves around) or the modern day Carter and God-only-knows what we get in 2012 if he turns out to be that (my personal fear is the reactionary choice to all this will be Sarah Palin........).

Just to note that there IS no expiration date on the blame that Bush gets for things that Bush actually did. He screwed up most everything he tried, but he particularly screwed up Iraq, Katrina, and the economy, and there is no point where the blame for any of those somehow magically falls away. No matter how long it takes to clean up the messes that Bush made, he will still be the one who was responsible for them.

Well the guy keep saying and poushing things when he hasn't even got thing he said where a priority after elction. Where is Gethnier 2nd priority husing bill that he sadi would be coming soon. Now we see Obama with his second tragedy for iraq after the march one didn;t work.We even see congress votinf=g on bills they haven't even seen. yes ;some deatikls would be nice. Certainly after rushing his a stimulus that the top adminiostrive economist says has peaked with so litle results seen on maintreet. Deatils mean you know what is goign to be done ;so you can decide to contact your representative for or aginst which is your right.People ahve a right to know and this administrtion does not prove mauch and wants to pass things before anyone knows what is in them. Rememeber even committtee members say they never knew Doodd had inserted the biunus clause in the bill they passed out of committee on bailouts.Only stuip person wouold say yes I am for the bill without knowing what is in it;deatils are important as the details in a mortgage as many found out the hardway.Lookign at the borrowing for allthese programs its a mortage on the income of future genrations that nay college graduate would be interested in because they will pay the biggest share in the future with interest.

Once they had their CHANGE, they had the gestapo going door to door looking for jews, gays, and other hated classes, blitzkrieg, and bombings. Don't forget the nationalization of most businesses (come to think of it...that's sort of what's happening now with the bank bailout!).

Granted, I do not believe Obama will form gestapo like units that come door to door. They just don't have enough people willing to do it. How could they replace all the ones that would get blown off the porches across the country? The possibility does exist that Obama and Congress will enact laws that restrict personal freedom, economic freedom, and the US's ability to defend itself and others (yes, most of our military spending is to take care of problems that the rest of the world finds distasteful).

So go ahead and sing his accolades without knowing what you're praising. You just may get a surprise.
No it isn't, you're letting Rush do your thinking again. Hitler was a semi socialist (National Socialist Party) who was forming his own Peoples Army of thugs to shout down town halls etc (the Brown Shirts or SA). Hitler was the leading candidate for Chancellor with 37% but nott a majority. He was approached by the Army and the Industrialists (Krupp, Thyssen, Farbin) represented by Prescott Bush (R-CT). They swung enough votes to elect Hitler Chancellor as long as he purged the Socialists from the NAZI Party and disbanded the SA. He did and was elected Chancellor as a Corporate Facist.

Here's Grandapa Bush

OK?

500 promises that he WILL even remotely, keep?

More details than any other POTUS ever gave?

NAME these "details" and ALL his promises, please.....for the record?

AND what's even more sad.....is YOU BELIEVE he will keep EVERY promise.

You want me to recite all 500+?
Thankfully, someone's done that already.
PolitiFact | The Obameter: Tracking Barack Obama's Campaign Promises

Will he remotely keep them?
52 Kept
7 Broken
in 11 months.

At his current pace, he'll have 227 promises kept at the end of his first term.
454 kept promises at the end of his second.
And close to 60 broken promises.
I'll take that.

Of course, unlike many of our right-wing posters, I cannot see into the future.

But I can be certain his first-year pace of getting stuff done that he said he'd do is pretty damned good.

If you didn't vote for him you have no vested interest in his promises

I didn't vote for him, I have health care so this whole thing probably won't effect me.

But every day a litany of complaints goes on and on of real or imagined grievances from people who didn't vote for him and would be upset if he handed then each a gold bar
