Educations admin., county workers, teachers, we are tired of paying for your benifits and bloated pensions.

comes to teachers as well, fire the bad ones, keep the good ones, deunionize

It's funny how someone could have a misused word in his post title (their is not the right word...there is) would actually say that teachers are overpaid. Of all the professions out there, teachers are the most underpaid. Making $100 a day in a city like San Diego is pathetic, teachers should make more than that. I'm not really sure why this poster hates teachers so much, but it's clear that he/she didn't pay attention in school.

have a t.a. correct all the homework, have summers, holidays off, what a life!

Actually, creating lesson plans, grading papers, especially anything that is essay is done usually at home without pay. Continued education is done without pay yet enforced. Not payed for summer time off.

Hmmmmm.............don't know much about the education system or county or state jobs. Sounds like a bunch of hilljack hooey to me.

There's also the opposite end of the spectrum, like some elementary school teachers in NJ making almost $90K for a year of 180 school days. At that rate I think they can afford to take unpaid summers (they often take other paid jobs) and spend time working at home, not to mention the shield of tenure they enjoy.
