This is not really a new issue. The 5 people you are referring to were convicted a few years ago on some kind of conspiracy or espionage charges by the US govt and are serving hard time in a federal pen. Any time you read news from an official (government controlled) cuban news web source like Granma you will also see a reference to the Cuban 5 guys on the side.

I don't know how or why you happened to stumble into the website of PSL. I have never heard of PSL. Their material looks just like the stuff that the "Socialist Workers Party" used to pass out on campus when I was a college student 35 years ago, so it's pretty stale material. On almost every major college campus there are a few small groups of true believers in Marxism-Leninism trying to win over a few more to their cause. For the last hundred years there have been fringe groups of all flavors running around, but they have never garnered any real large or dedicated following in the US. Don't expect that to change much in the next 4 years. All that talk about socialism and Obama is way overblown. Our current administration has put the federal government into more facets of private economy with the mega bailouts than any other administration in recent history.
