While we're fetching links and statistics, I'd like some links that show how common partial birth abortions are.
Why should I produce anything? I'm not the one that throws out vague unsubstantiated statistics.

Um...did you not look at the 3 links that I provided which all verified my 1% statement?

Rape and Incest: Just 1% of All Abortions - New York Times

Indeed, in a 1987 survey by the Alan Guttmacher Institute in which abortion patients were asked why they were having an abortion, only 1 percent of the 1,900 women questioned named rape or incest. And 95 percent of those who mentioned rape or incest named other reasons as well for deciding to abort, the institute said.

Is Abortion Right When Pregnancy is Due to Rape or Incest?

The Institute says fourteen thousand* abortions per year are due to rape or incest, which amounts to 1 percent of all abortions.* Other studies show that pregnancies due to rape are much rarer, as few as one in a thousand cases.*

Why Can't We Love Them Both? On Line Book by Dr. and Mrs. Willke.

[SIZE=2]About 1 or 2 for each 1000. Using the 170,000 figure, this translates into an overall total of 170 to 340 assault rape pregnancies a year in the entire United States.

Satisfied?

Here it is again, in case you missed it.

You pulled that one out of your asse. The bill doesnt say anything about requiring funding for abortions.
Yeah, I knew there had to be some obfuscation in there somewhere. That site's language is just too incredibly biased to be useful.

zygote, or a blastocyst also? Beause a large majority of these religious people have taken this down to "from conception" on. Would you ban anything that might "abort" a fertilized egg, or 5 day old embryo too? That gag order, and Bush's freedom of conscience act, applied to contraceptives, eg., BC pills, as well as abortion of a "fetus".

Yeah, it becomes a human being at conception.

Do you have a different idea of when it becomes human?

Unfortunately when the mother decides she wants it in most people's eyes.
