You're a relative rarity these days; since you're not a brain-washed, glassy-eyed politico-bot like so many others in recent days, who seem to feel their particular favorite politician is on par with (maybe even superior to) God Himself. I don't trust them either from both parties since they both are good about failing to keep their campaign promises. This is why we need more exposure to the other candidates from the smaller parties.

I agree, probably because you are right. But you and I are allmost all alone. About 150 million people went out on November 4th and told the world that they do trust their politicos and they know for a fact that they never ever tell lies. They also believe that their politicos are representing we the peons and looking out for us.
Most presidential candidates are good actors and lie and are forced to lie or exagerate, if they didn't do these things they would not be elected, and the media has much to do with it. I saw the Clinton's and Biden standing together on stage and each said the opposite of what they had said earlier about Obama. As someone said here with politicians it's a game they learn to play, it's their career.
People are so desperate for change that if obama said he was god they would believe him.Politicians are liars & they are good at it cause i bet they lied all the time to their parents,teachers,etc..since childhood.UGH!!!!
