Pro life / Pro death penalty.

That said I do believe there are great discrepancies in the application of the death penalty. Discrepancies significant enough that the application of the death penalty needs to be weighed in light of those discrepancies. I'm speaking of race here. I don't care about the background of the convicted person. A poor upbringing or other such 'mitigating circumstance' doesn't excuse anything. But it's a fact blacks are more likely to get the death penalty than whites. That should cause great concern in anyone. If we're going to take a life we must be do so knowing with absolute certainty the condemned is deserving of such a punishment and that said individual is undeniably guilty.

There's an all encompassing abortion thread at the top of this folder.

Well, you know the rules, why not follow them?

Apparently the rules have changed.

There is no longer an 'all encompassing' abortion thread at the top.

Instead, they have taken numerous good health care threads and buried them in an 'all encompassing' health care thread.

This is somewhat frustrating, and poor policy I think.

Different groups of individuals who were actively discussing various aspects of health care will find to impossible to carry on where their conversation has been disrupted.

It's like taking 5 different phone calls in progress and dumping them into a party line.

You've effectively ended 5 conversations because you believe it's better to have only 1.

The various subtopics that were being addressed were important to those discussing them. But no matter.

*sigh*

I could understand putting all those threads into their own subforum.

That would make total sense.

But merging them into one master thread is very poor policy, IMHO.
