It was so absurd that all I could do was laugh.

Sorry, but it was the Republicans who throughout the 90's refused to recognize the threat of al-Qaeda. It was the Republicans who argued that Clinton was doing nothing more that "wag the dog" when he attacked al-Qaeda bases in Afghanistan and Sudan. It was the Republicans who refuse to accept the idea of transnational terrorism and who clung to the misbegotten idea that the only terrorism that existed was state supported, not transnational which lead to their concentration on Iraq instead of Afghanistan.
Actually Clinton (disclaimer: I voted for him 2x) attacked an aspirin factory in the Sudan and some empty mud huts in what had been an active base.

I think it fair to say that everyone was asleep at the wheel and so drunk on the stock market that they/we did not take the AQ threat seriously. And many still do not as they imply that its all a conspiracy, blown out of proportion, a misunderstanding, etc.

This just goes to show that they hate all of us, Black , White, Latino, Asian, or any other race as long as we call ourselves Americans. They hate Americans no matter what race we are. I believe it only puts them in a corner anyway. Now the rest of the world will see when we have a Black President, they still pull the same stuff. This again, gives Obama the upper hand here in the U.S. and the throughout the rest of the world. So, they can keep on digging their own graves if they want. Seems like if you insult or try to go up against Obama, his support machine will rally behind him and crush you like a bug.

Didn't Harry Belafonte call Colin Powell as "House Negro"? Maybe he called Condoleeza Rice a "House Negro" also, I'm not sure.

well so much for the idiots at Palin rallies screaming "terrorist' every time she uttered his name. I think a lot of people are under estimating Obama when he has publicy said he will send more troops into Afghanistan. Perhaps Zawahri knows he is going to gun for the top of the Al Qaeda organization.

So sad. you just keep on going with your ridiculous lies and slander. Kooter, you remind me of the crazed "I can't trust him! he's an Arab!" woman at that McCain rally.

What did I say in the above quote that stands out to you as a lie or slander?

Can you imagine what Kooter would be saying if they were PRAISING Obama???

FYI Kooter, Indonesia is not in the same part of the world you're insinuating he spent a lot of time in.
