Default What would you like to see the government do?
Lets not get into debates over the things people list. Just post something that you would like to see the government do... best case scenario! It doesn't have to be realistic!

I would like to see the government make all over-time tax free! Anything after 40 hours would be tax free. That is a great start until the pass better tax policies!

1. Eliminate the IRS and existing tax code and institute a national sales/use tax instead.
2. Dial down (way down) and completely rework the social/welfare programs from the ground up.
3. Get out of the bailout business.
4. Stop wasting money on useless projects that have nothing to do with what's Constitutionally required of them.
5. Restore states' rights.
6. Get out of the education business.

I'm sure I could go on, but I'm not feeling 100% today so I'll stop there for now.

health care reform as the cost has gone up so much that it has taken a toll on car companies and many other companies

I do to but not in health care. If anything I think gvmt needs to step up and like Europe give the option of gvmt health care for employers as cost now is killing many

Close the southern border and shoot anything that tries to cross it (NOT our furry animal friends). Pack up ALL illegals and transport them immediately (by whatever means) to their respective countries. This IS possible, by banning all pork barrell spending our illustrious Congress commits.

I would rather them line Congress up and shoot them!! Bush has the lowest approval rating of any president and Congress has a dramatically lower approval rating than he does! They never pass anything that helps the people!
