LOL! They quoted the second "gem" at my husband's southern-baptist cousin's wedding and my husband had to hold me down so that I didn't walk. Seriously the word "submit" was in her vows! Vomitus.
You've got a lot of pent-up anger, rage and bitterness boiling inside of you. You might want to seek professional help for that.
You started off fairly intelligent in your posts but now you have become just another angry crack pot.
or maybe all "christians" start calling people stupid and ignorant when they get upset.
You know this could go on forever and you will eventually have to answer the real question
"if you can pick and choose, shouldn't everything be called into question"
here's a couple feel good gems for you to defend:
Let the women learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence." [I Timothy 2:11-12]
"Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything." (Ephesians 5:22-24
Call me Barney Frank then, whatever. Answer the question. How can you pick and choose what parts of the bible to obey and not obey without calling the whole thing into question.
Now, here's one of your problems: You refuse to think that I've done exactly that! You refuse to think that I've studied through ALL of it, and questioned ALL of it, and have come to various conclusions about it.
So here's a heads up: The fact that somebody doesn't agree with you does NOT mean that person is ignorant! In fact, it's possible that the exact opposite is true.
Now, let's talk about your little snot-nosed comment, in calling me Sean Hannity, shall we?

That is INCREDIBLY EASY to answer: You STUDY through ALL of it. You don't ignore the parts you don't like, and cling to a few you do.
You study through ALL of it - which is something you clearly have NOT done.
That said, you REALLY need to get over your hang-ups about homosexuality. You cannot even allow somebody to write, "this is what is said in these verses of the Bible" without going all ape nuts about it. YOU are the ones who are frothing at the mouth over this, not me.

So, you've studied through all of it and believe some of it is relevant or all of it is relevant...word for word ?
You, STILL, haven't answered the question.
