Be careful there:

There are many different kinds of strengths............just remember what David did to Goliath.

Martin Luther King prevailed due in large part for not acting like a terrorist.

As for world overpopulation: that is fast becoming a moot point in more and more places due to the replacement level birthrate of 2.1 children per woman.

Clearly the original post is pure sarcasm/satire. No one could possibly be serious about wanting to off perfectly healthy children who's only crime is to be unwanted. Now, if the poster had wanted to make an intelligent suggestion re: overpopulation they might have wondered why the condom remains the gold standard for birth control in the 21st Century. Surely it is better simply not to have been born at all than hustled screaming into a 'death chamber' to be put down via a lethal injection?

But, then you didn't answer my other question, which is: why do we put so much effort in preserving the lives of such undesirables? If it's natural selection you want, then why not let them be eradicated naturally?

The greatest thing we have is Choice (or the illusion of it, Matrix anyone?)... to simply remove someone's choice (or make it seem like that) is a violation of human nature... we are "choosy" people and the choice of personal life and death is one of the greatest rights we have and hence a crime to do otherwise (i.e. murder)... You seem to think that at certain points people stop having the right of self-determination, they do not... its not something you can lose or have it taken away without a vicious fight... that is not to say that they are wanted people of society... if you commit such a heinous crime that others deem inexcusable, you have lost your right to be in that society and retribution ... that means death... all's fair that ends fair...

A lot of them are eradicated due to their own stupidity or backlash of others. Elderly people & unwanted children contribute nothing to society? How do you figure? My father is 73 & I assure you, he is definitely contributing to society.

I am 100% for euthanasia only for those who want it. Nobody should have to suffer if they are sick, etc.

I asked a simple question about euthanasia...the thread has nothing to do with overpopulation. Now, I don't believe too many babies or the profoundly mentally retarded are going to be "hustled screaming into a 'death chamber' to be put down" do you? BTW, single quotation marks are reserved only for words inside quotation marks.

First you have to define human nature before you can say something violates it. One animal eats another...has not the animal's free will been violated? That is the law of nature.

Old people use up more of our money than they contribute...therefore, there net worth is negative and they are a burden on society.
