gays are 10% of population not unreasonable to ask for accomodations.
they should receive the same lousy service everybody else does on eharmony.

Yah but, come on. There are plenty of gay only dating sites. I mean I'm gay but even I think that this is dumb.

Could someone explain to me why the gay community allows the radical elements control the direction of the gay civil rights movements?

The key word is they AGREED. Nobody forced them to do a thing. They chose to switch rather than fight.

I agree with you. I am 100% in favour of gay rights and the right of gays to be free from discrimination in jobs, housing, benefits and such. I am not, however, in favour of gays or any other group forcing their agenda on private businesses and organizations no more than I should be able to force a gay newspaper to carry personal ads for hetrosexuals.

It's the same reason that both political parties are controlled by the outter edge wingers, usually the more insane and warped a person is, the more vocal they are on THEIR issues and less thought to the common good is brought forth by them.....A win at all costs mentality that culls neither guilty nor innocent, but seeks to destroy all who oppose them.

Agreed. At what point does the insanity end? I'm sure there are plenty of dating services that have already established a gay clientele. IMHO this is simply another "hostage demand" for mainstream inclusivity and acceptance.

What I found surprising was that eHarmony originated from Focus on the Family, an extremely conservative organization. So, again, what were they doing that they decided to cover up? What made them relent?

Perhaps you should assume that I did read it more thoroughly and still interpreted it the same way. Just a suggestion.
