Give me a break! How do you even know there were "gay" indians!!!

And the GOP doesn't "hate" gays!!! That's a pretty broad statement.

I'm a Christian, and I don't "hate" gays. I don't think homosexuality is normal, but I dont' "hate" them.

I wonder how many Democrats don't like "gays"? I notice that it's always Republicans that are mentioned in such posts. As though Democrats are "tolerant"? It is the Democrat Party that is mostly responsible for attacks on Christianity, and removing all vestiges of Christianity from public view or discussion. Is that "tolerant"? But, apparently, they love "gays"?

Aren't "Christians" members of the "Public"? Don't they pay taxes for that "public" property?

IMO - religious people have as much RIGHT to use "public" property as do non-religious

I know tons of democrats who voted for Prop 8, which struck down gay marriage in CA. Just because we are against same-sex marriage does not equate with us hating gays. I treat gays like I would treat any fellow human being. I do not have to accept their lifestyle choices.

Thank you! The nerve of the non-religious demanding that public property be used only the way they see fit!

It's quite easy to forget about the beginning of the end for numerous indigenous cultures when that culture is not your own.

Perhaps part of the problem with the treatment of Native Americans in this country (over 300 broken treaties with the Lakota alone) is that those whose ancestors and subsequent progeny were not affected by the near annilation of those indigenous to this country have no empathy for those who were.

Seems to be a common thread throughout with those Americans who believe that the fault of the plight of the Native Americans lies within themselves NOT with the theft of their lands, their way of life, and anything of any value they've ever had the misfortune to own that the white man and/or government decided that the Indians shouldn't be allowed to keep.
