I say Happy Holidays!. To the idiots who might be offended, Christmas is INCLUDED in "Happy Holidays", its not like they are mutually exclusive.
In fact, I am wishing more goodwill for you by including all the holidays and celebrations in there.

I say Merry Christmas also. After all, He is the reason for the season. To me, it's a Christmas tree, not a "holiday" tree. We get Christmas break, not a "holiday break" We've become too secular in this country, but in the US, Christians make up 75% of the population. The PC crowd doesn't want us to offend the other 25% percent, but it's OK to trash the Christians at every turn. I don't like it. If we offend Muslims, all hell would break loose. So to everyone I say "Merry Christmas"!!!!!!

To me it is a Christmas tree, too. A "holiday" tree is an excuse to have a Christmas tree, while pretending you don't.
That offends me more, I think, than when my public school wants to put a Christmas tree in the lobby. Do they think we're stupid enough to believe it is not about Christ because they changed the name?
"It's okay to trash the Christians at every turn."
Somehow, having the majority, the one whose deity is on the money, in the Pledge, and whose calendar we follow, complain how put upon and suffering they are is pretty funny.
It's not okay to trash any people for any religion at any turn. It is not okay in a society without a state religion to force a particular viewpoint down the public's throat, no matter the majority opinion or the minority opinion.
But I am unsure what you mean by "trash the Christians," so perhaps I am misunderstanding - could you clarify that?

'Merry Christmas'. 'Christmas Tree'. 'Christmas Break'. Yes, that sounds about right to me. In this little part of the Mid West, it is still Christmas. Saying Merry Christmas to even a non-believer is not offensive. I am basically wishing the blessings of the season for you. Really, I think we all can use some type of well wishes. So, Merry Christmas to y'all. When the time comes.

I say Merry Christmas, because that is the main holiday and you don't have to be a Christian to celebrate Christmas. Even the Muslims (that were mentioned earlier) recognize Jesus as an important figure (though not the central figure), so it is Christmas. Yet, I'm not offended by people that say "Season's Greetings" or "Happy Holidays" or "Feliz Navidad". I just love this time of year, the anticipation, the goodwill and Christ! It is all fun and wonderful.

I'm not really sure how to have a Merry Christmas, since I've never celebrated it... but thanks anyway, and I hope you have a wonderful Chanukah and Blessed Ramadan.
